Love. 03:54
“Love does not mean touch me anywhere it feels good. You know I should tell Mom and Dad about all this. I will keep it a secret if you promise to quit. Take note that high school boys go out and hope to find a girl that is quick with a few drinks. It is sex they crave. It is sex they crave. What you do not know is that his soul aches just like yours and he thinks that love is pain.”

You will not have to fight. You will not have to fight. I’ll be on your side. You will not have to fight. We’ll waltz through the graveyard. We’ll walk through the tide. This will never work again. We will bury all the cures. We will sing for summer’s end. Oh, I’ve lost it now for sure. I’m running out. I’m pulling at the seams. I’ll be on your side. You will always be the dream of my dreams. The dream of my dreams.

Rain falls from your eyes. The clouds. The clouds. Stirring within me. It stirs. It stirs. When I hear it low I think of you, of old and new. This picture burned into my head. My head is hot. Return, for away you went. Return, you went. When I hear it low I think of you, of old and new.

I am the one who failed. I am the one who failed. I think I want to love again. I think I want to love you. I held my breath in front of everyone. I think I want to love again. I think I want to love you. I need someone to talk to.

This Safety 04:15
This is not the purest form of sadness. This is contrived. I want to feel again the depths of a beautiful sadness. Give me some tragedy. No more wine or pills. A beautiful sadness is brave, honest and strong. Come hum along. Come out. Come out. For here I found all of myself. This safety, it surroundeth us. Come out. Come out. Come hum along. I once sang a song in Georgia. “Tonight I Feel Alive.” But I have not felt alive in quite some time. If I never open my mouth I may feel safe, but I will ignore this boiling in my veins. Come hum along. Come out. Come out. For here I found all of myself. This safety, it surroundeth us. Come out. Come out. Come hum along. Come out. Come out. Come hum along.

It saddens me to see myself these days. I hardly play guitar. Ideas flow not the same. Certainly I feel defeated stuck between a wall and a dream. I fight battles against the dream breathing within me. This old and tired dream, still it has quite a hold on me. Certainly I feel defeated stuck between a wall and a dream. I fight battles against the dream breathing within me. This breathing dream. Only the wounded can heal.

After all these long years, hope is still available for us.

Residents of the free world lose their jobs every day. The only explanation given is the company is downsizing with no room for new suggestions or curious questions. “Brave ideas are obsolete. Give up your job to this machine. Fourteen years you have been the brilliance of the business but your blend of beautiful lost its place to invention.” Wives are at home on the phone with mouths full of gossip. Husbands at work look at pictures of ladies on company time. Children at private schools are uninformed, uniformed and lazy. “Brave ideas are obsolete. Give up your job to this machine, this machine.”
